Hydrogen Sulfide

SETA-CRM Hydrogen Sulfide

The H2S Verification Material is produced under our ISO 17034 UKAS accreditation. This aqueous solution contains a known concentration of liquid-phase hydrogen sulfide with a certified value. It is produced by accurately determining the mass of ingredients using a balance certified by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.

The H2S Verification Material is supplied in tamper-evident security packaging with full documentation, including a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). It has a three-month shelf life from the date of manufacture and is supplied complete with activator, two syringes, dispensing tube and silicone tubing.

The H2S Verification Material enables routine monitoring of instrument performance and serves as a valuable tool for training personnel on new equipment and test methods. We recommend purchasing the H₂S Verification Material alongside new instrumentation to support installation and commissioning.

Incorrect result determinations can lead to significant financial and safety risks. As automated instrumentation becomes more common, the likelihood of undetected errors increases. Early detection of bias helps minimise production ‘giveaway’ and ensures measurement accuracy.

Certification: the H2S Verification Material is supplied with an ISO 33401 compliant certificate of measurement which gives certified values for the test method covered by the materials.
